Set in the heart of the Karoo, POD feels worlds away from the city. Endless open landscapes, soft earthy colours, quiet surroundings, and the kind of sunsets that make you stop for a second and take it all in. It’s the perfect place for couples wanting a wedding that feels relaxed, personal, and connected to nature.

The whole day unfolded naturally. No rushing around, no pressure — just friends, family, good music, and a lot of real moments. The kind of wedding where everyone feels fully present.

Nicole looked absolutely incredible, and Tanner could not stop smiling the entire day. From the emotional ceremony to the golden sunset over the Karoo hills, everything about the day felt effortless in the best possible way.

One of the things we love most about photographing weddings at Place of Dreams Karoo is how naturally the landscape becomes part of the story. The light out there is unreal — especially during sunset when the whole Karoo starts glowing.

As photographers and videographers, we always try to keep things relaxed and honest. We don’t want couples spending their wedding day posing for hours or feeling pulled away from the people around them. Instead, we focus on capturing moments as they happen — the atmosphere, emotions, laughter, movement, and all the little in-between moments that make the day feel real years later.

Nicole & Tanner completely trusted the process, which always makes such a difference. We wandered out for a few quiet sunset portraits, took in the view, and let everything happen naturally.

The reception carried on under the Karoo sky with great speeches, dancing, and one of those evenings nobody wanted to end.
