Planning your wedding in Cape Town, the Western Cape or further afield? Here are a few things couples often ask us about our photography, films and how we work.
What’s your style?
Natural, relaxed and documentary-led.
We love capturing the real stuff — the laughter, nerves, happy tears and all those little moments you might not even notice happening.
Most of the day we simply let things unfold. During your couple shoot, we’ll give you a little gentle direction when needed, but nothing overly posed or awkward.
We want your photos and film to feel like you.
How do we book you?
If you feel we’re the right fit, send us a message and we’ll send through our packages and availability.
To secure your date, we require:
30% non-refundable booking fee
Signed contract
The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before your wedding.
Can we meet you before the wedding?
Absolutely!
If you’re in Cape Town, we can meet in person, or we can arrange a relaxed Zoom call if that’s easier — especially if you’re planning your wedding from overseas.
How long have you been photographing & filming weddings?
We’ve captured hundreds of weddings across South Africa and abroad, so we bring plenty of experience to every wedding day.
But we still love that no two weddings are ever the same — every couple, every celebration and every story is completely different.
Do you both attend every wedding?
For our photo + film packages, yes.
Tyron photographs while Erika films. Because we’ve worked together for years, we naturally know how to work around each other without getting in each other’s way.
For photography-only, videography-only, smaller weddings or elopements, just chat to us and we’ll recommend the best option.
Why book photography + film with the same team?
Because we’ve worked together for years (and we’re married!), we know exactly how the other works.
No fighting for the best angle. No two separate teams getting in each other’s way.
Just a relaxed experience and photographs and films that feel like they belong together.
Can we book photography or videography separately?
Of course!
You can book us for photography only, videography only, or photo + film.

Can you customise a package?
Definitely.
Every wedding is different. If one of our packages isn’t quite right, we can look at your plans and timeline and create something that works for your day.
How long will you be with us?
Most of our full-day packages include 8–10 hours of coverage.
That usually gives us plenty of time to capture everything naturally — from getting ready through to the dance floor — without rushing your day.
When will we receive everything?
Sneak preview: within 10 days
Wedding photographs: within 14 weeks
Wedding films: within 16 weeks
During our busiest wedding season, delivery may be closer to the end of those timeframes.
How will we receive our photos & films?
Everything is delivered through a private online gallery, making it easy to view, download and share with family and friends.
Your online backup gallery remains available for 12 months, although we always recommend downloading everything and keeping your own backup.
Can we order an album after the wedding?
Absolutely.
You can order one of our Fine Art Albums after your wedding, although some of our packages already include an album at a better package rate.
Do you provide RAW photos or unedited video footage?
We don’t deliver RAW photographs or unedited footage as part of our standard packages.
Editing, colour grading and storytelling are a big part of our finished work, so everything you receive is carefully selected and edited in the style you see throughout our portfolio.
How long do you keep our original files?
We keep your RAW photographs and unedited video footage for six months after final delivery.
Your finished online gallery remains available for 12 months.
Do you have backup systems?
Yes.
As soon as possible after every wedding, we create multiple backups of your photographs and video footage on separate drives.
Keeping your memories safe is something we take very seriously.
Are you insured?
Yes. We’re professionally insured and can provide proof if your venue requires it.
Do you use a drone?
Yes. Drone footage is included in applicable film packages when the location, weather and flying restrictions allow us to fly safely and legally.
Why do you recommend full-day coverage?
Because some of our favourite moments happen when nobody is expecting them.
Getting ready, your parents seeing you dressed for the first time, the nerves before the ceremony, sunset, speeches and the madness on the dance floor — together, those moments tell the whole story.
With 8–10 hours of coverage, we don’t have to rush it.
Do you travel outside Cape Town?
Absolutely.
We’re based in Cape Town and photograph and film weddings throughout the Western Cape, South Africa and beyond.
Travel within the first 200 km from Kommetjie, including the return journey, is included in our packages.
For weddings further away, we’ll let you know about any additional travel and accommodation costs upfront.
We’re planning our wedding from overseas. Can we still book you?
Definitely.
We work with couples planning their South African weddings from all over the world.
Everything from your initial meeting and booking to planning your timeline can be done online, and we’re always happy to jump onto a Zoom call along the way.
