Saronsberg Wedding | Melis & Kyle

Some weddings just feel easy.

Not because nothing goes wrong or everything runs perfectly, but because everyone is simply happy to be there. That was exactly how Melis & Kyle’s wedding at Saronsberg Cellar felt.

From the moment we arrived, there was such a relaxed atmosphere. No stress, no rushing around, just excitement for the day ahead and a lot of smiling faces.

The ceremony was beautiful. There were plenty of laughs, a few happy tears and those little moments that nobody plans but end up meaning the most. The way Kyle looked at Melis as she walked down the aisle said everything.

One of the things we love most about Saronsberg is how it never really needs much dressing up. The vineyards, the mountains and the surrounding landscape do all the hard work. Every time we photograph a wedding there, the light seems to put on a show of its own.

After the ceremony, everyone settled into canapés while family and friends caught up over a drink. It gave us the perfect chance to sneak away with Melis & Kyle for a few portraits before the reception.

Neither of them wanted anything overly posed, which suited us perfectly.

We simply wandered through the vineyards, chatted about the day and let them enjoy a few quiet moments together before heading back to the party.

Some of our favourite photographs always come from these few minutes because couples stop thinking about being photographed and simply enjoy being together.

Back at the reception, the atmosphere shifted from relaxed to full celebration.

The speeches had everyone laughing one minute and reaching for tissues the next. You could tell just how loved these two are by the people around them.

As the evening went on, the dance floor slowly filled up and, before long, nobody wanted the night to end.

Those are always our favourite weddings to photograph.

Not because of the venue or the details, but because people forget about the cameras and simply enjoy themselves.

Melis & Kyle, thank you for allowing us to be part of such an incredible day. It was an absolute privilege to capture your wedding, and we wish you both a lifetime filled with adventure, laughter and many more moments like these.
